Having your own membership site is a highly profitable business model. There are however, three challenges that people face…

1. What topic to create their membership site on

2. How to keep their membership site updated

3. The technical stuff behind running a membership site

I’m going to help you out with all three of these challenges today….

The first thing to do is see what other membership sites are out there. Just head over to Google.com think of a niche that you have some interest in, and add membership to it.

For instance…

weight loss membership
parents membership
homeschool membership

If you find membership sites in your niche, grab a membership to it for a month, and see what topics they cover. Write them down. As you go through these topics I’m sure you’ll get more ideas for topics, and you should write those down too.

If you don’t find a membership site already going in your niche, then head over to ClickBank.com, and do a search for your niche topic. If you find at least 3-5 products, then you need to start a membership in that niche immediately.

Why?

Because products are being sold in it, so a membership site will sell too!

So that’s how you find your niche or topic to create your membership site around.

Now what about updating it?

Well those lists of topics are great to start with to create content around. You can either create the content yourself, hire someone to do it for you, (which is what I recommend) or grab PLR on your niche and use it.
